Miseria Wiki Overview: Full Guide Index

Welcome to the unofficial Miseria wiki for Somnambulist Games’ dark fantasy idle incremental. The Steam release arrived on 7 August 2026 at $7.99 as a single-player auto-combat descent with no multiplayer. Your party fights while you manage gold, the blacksmith, Reborn prestige, and Dark Blessings spent at the Church. This page is the site map: rich links into every major hub so you never have to guess which category owns the answer.

If you only have two minutes, open Getting Started and the Reborn planner. If you want the full tour, work the modules below in order.

Guides — learn the loop

The Guides Hub is the teaching lane. Start with Getting Started for the town loop, forge habits, and first-hour goals. When you need the control-and-cadence picture—what auto combat handles versus what you still decide—read How to Play. When the demo muscle memory ends and prestige becomes the real game, read How to Reborn so you know exactly what resets and what stays. Guide pages exist for “how do I…?” questions: how to push floors, how to time a prestige, how to stop wasting gold on the wrong forge clicks.

Use guides when you are confused. Use tools when you already understand the rule and need a checklist.

Builds — field the right party

The Builds Hub covers compositions, stats, and forge targets. The early-game build is the featured starting point: a practical party plan while you unlock permanent Blacksmith access, recruit support like the Alchemist, and survive the first Reborn cycles. When special abilities gate clear speed, open Mana and Abilities for mana-on-hit, Will/Intelligence, mana rings, and Church crit/vamp timing. Builds answer “who should be in the party?” and “which stats feed skills?” rather than “which Church node is S-tier?”

Come back to builds whenever the full release’s extra party slots change who you can field on a fresh descent.

Tier lists — rank the spend

The Tier List Hub ranks progression choices with clear criteria. The Church upgrades tier list is the page most players need after their first blessings land: Blacksmith unlock, Spikes/thorns, gold magnet, Alchemist, start XP, then crit/vamp, with expensive stat caps held for later. Tier lists are opinionated on purpose—pair them with the planner instead of treating either as scripture.

Items — gear and forge context

The Items Hub is where blacksmith output and gear goals live. Miseria’s economy is intentionally simple—monsters drop gold, the forge turns gold into power—but “simple” still hides bad upgrades. Use items pages when you know your Church plan and need the next equipment breakpoint that actually changes clear speed—including mana ring breakpoints called out in Mana and Abilities.

Review — buy / skip / hardware context

The Review Hub is for honest launch context: what the idle loop promises, who it is for, and how Mixed early Steam reception fits without pretending this wiki is Metacritic. Read Miseria review if you played the demo and are deciding on the $7.99 full game. Confirm PC specs on System Requirements. If you plan handheld AFK, open Steam Deck performance for FPS caps and battery habits. Do not expect a strategy replacement; after you buy, return to guides and tools.

Tools — decide before you Reborn

The Tools Hub hosts interactive helpers. The featured Reborn planner estimates Dark Blessings from floor depth and walks a Church priority checklist. Open it mid-run when you are about to prestige, not while you are still learning which building is the blacksmith.

Updates — what changed

The Updates Hub tracks launch and patch deltas. Start with Launch notes for the demo→full jump: story intro, more floors, party slot growth, and deeper Church sinks. For demo-era polish history, read the Demo gameplay update (menu, autosave, facing, rebalance, ~2 GB → ~500 MB) and the Dark Blessings save hotfix (Prestige Points / blessings save trust). Idle math is patch-sensitive; re-check this hub before you commit a large blessing bank to an old plan.

How the categories stay clean

Internal links always use trailing slashes and locale-agnostic paths so French, German, and Spanish builds can localize automatically. If a dropdown in the header truncates a long category, use the hub’s “View all” path, then return here when you need the whole map again.

Miseria rewards a calm shopping list more than frantic clicking. Pick a hub, finish one decision—forge, recruit, Church, or FPS cap—then descend again. When you forget where a page lives, this overview is the door back in.
